to Tech Jobs Programme
Frequently Asked Questions
The UNHCR says more than 10 million people have fled Ukraine since the Russian offensive began.
“[…] among first victims of Russian invasion will be working people and that the devastation of jobs, enterprises and livelihoods will be massive and endure for many years,” said Mr. Ryder.
The head of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Guy Ryder, has highlighted the need to support Ukraine’s workers.
One of the most important challenges for the EU will be to find a stable and safe place to work for both blue-collar and white-collars Ukrainian refugees. On the other hand, it is estimated that there is currently a shortage of 250-300 thousand IT experts in Poland alone.
In response to these challenges brought about by the war, together with Accenture and the Entrepreneurial Women’s Network, we have established the Reskilling Ukrainian women to Tech Jobs Program. It is an opportunity for those directly affected by the war in Ukraine to gain the skills of the future. We believe that by providing them with funding for our courses, recruiting support and giving them mentoring support, we are giving them the opportunity to get an attractive job and thus a chance for a better future.
The amount of data we have is increasing. About everything, coming from multiple sources simultaneously. Year over year, the amount of data is growing by 300%. We know more than we can process. Without specialized tools and skills, the data—that is our most valuable resource—goes untapped. Business Intelligence and the tools that serve it mean that gigabytes of data can be quickly and effectively analyzed, conclusions drawn, and trends predicted. BI knowledge is used in every department of a modern company (controlling, finance, HR, marketing, sales).
The reskilling program for tech and IT jobs, dedicated to Ukrainian women who escaped the war, has a chance to give them a stable and secure jobs, as well as to provide the tech industry with IT specialists who are currently most in demand on the labor market.
