Course scope Web Developer - Frontend Developer IRL
You will learn HTML5 and CSS3, which are the starting point for creating websites. You will build tags, create menus, forms, and learn about frame editing. You will also learn how to write code blocks.
You will learn techniques for creating websites that dynamically change their appearance depending on the screen width they are displayed on, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops.
You will learn the most essential tools and discover how to fix your errors and work on improving the performance of websites.
You will learn how to add interactivity to web pages and build web applications using the JavaScript language (ES6+) and the React UI framework. You will set up a development environment, explore various programming concepts (such as variables, loops, conditions, functions), and effective ways to use them. You will become familiar with React, a standard tool for building user interfaces, and learn best practices for working with components. You will learn to write code that is not only concise, declarative, and aesthetically pleasing but also easy to refactor and subject to unit testing.
You will also tackle several projects, such as building a landing page, a home budget, or a currency converter that interacts with the open API of the National Bank of Poland.
During the course, you will complete 43 practical tasks to test and solidify your new skills. You will also create 6 to 7 projects that will build your professional portfolio.
During the course, you will receive mentorship on job hunting and interview preparation. Upon successful completion of the final project, you will receive a certificate from us. By finishing the course, you will acquire the knowledge and skills that will enable you to work as a Junior Frontend Developer.
