Reskilling Ukrainian Women to Tech and IT Jobs Program

A unique reskilling program dedicated to displaced Ukrainian women which aims at providing them with a remarkable opportunity to acquire digital competences. The objective is to give Ukrainian women dignified employment, increase their competitiveness on the labor market, as well as to provide the tech industry with Tech and IT specialists who are currently most in demand.

Why do we do it?

According to the UN, over 10 million people have fled Ukraine since the Russian offensive began One of the most important challenges for the EU will be to find a stable and safe place to work for both blue-collar and white-collar Ukrainian refugees.

What do We want to achieve?

The program was created to provide displaced Ukrainian women with skills necessary to start a career in the field of Business Intelligence and Business Analytics. The first edition will be directed to 12 Ukrainian women who during the reskilling program, will acquire competences allowing them to enter the IT industry. What is more, the program will provide the tech industry with a new source of IT specialists who are currently most in demand on the labor market.

Who can apply for the program?

The program is aimed at Ukrainian women who:

  • left their country after February 24 2022
  • have a very good knowledge of English (B2 level minimum)
  • are able to invest time in intensive studying (15h weekly)
  • have access to computer and stable Internet*
  • have a university degree and at least 2 years of work experience (doesn’t need to be in IT)
  • have knowledge of Excel
  • are motivated to acquire new skills and a new profession in the field of IT, new technology, analytics, finance

*we are able to rent equipment for those in need.

How and when you'll be learning?

Start of the course: October 3 2022

Our course can fit into your daily schedule without any issues. Thanks to a modern teaching formula and an innovative educational platform you will be able to learn whenever and wherever you want. All lessons are recorded which allows you to view the materials at a time and place convenient for you.

What is more, you will have 1.5 hours a week to be used for individual consultations with a mentor. It’s your time to ask questions and resolve any possible doubts.

There will be tasks and projects waiting for you on the platform, the completion of which you have 12 weeks from the start of the course.

What will you learn?

You will learn business analytics fundamentals

You will analyze the most important design methodologies and learn what Business Intelligence is.

You will create beautiful and interactive reports

You will learn about the popular Power BI tool, and find out how to integrate data in Power Query.

You will learn how to prepare and clean data

You will learn how to analyze and model large amounts of data from various sources. You will focus on combining multiple queries using functions such as Lookup, Merge, Join, and Union.

You will learn a "different" Excel - the DAX language

You will use DAX language in practice and perform the exercise: introducing business logic to DAX measures in Power BI.

You will learn the architecture used in BI solutions

You will summarize your knowledge and learn how to create a coherent system that automates data analysis and allows for further development of the company. You will learn about the possibilities and use of Machine Learning and AI in Business Intelligence.

You will build your own portfolio

During the course, you will complete 6 practical tasks which will allow you to test and consolidate new skills. You will also go through 5 case studies that will build your professional portfolio.

You will strengthen your bargaining position in the IT recruitment

After passing the final project, you will receive a certificate. Completing the course will allow you to obtain knowledge and skills enabling you to work with Business Intelligence.
