Play, a leading telecommunications operator in Poland, in collaboration with Future Collars, a renowned digital skills school, has completed the first phase of its employee reskilling program. Participants in the program have completed intensive courses, developing key skills in programming and testing. The courses, conducted by experienced mentors from Future Collars, combined theory with practice, providing a comprehensive and valuable educational experience. The reskilling program was developed based on the needs analysis and guidelines from IT team leaders at Play. It included topics such as programming basics, manual and automated testing, IT system architecture, Linux, and SQL.
- "It is a great satisfaction for us to be able to provide Play employees with such comprehensive support in acquiring new skills, and the 360-degree approach we use is valuable for the program's participants. We are pleased that more and more companies see the immense value in such programs," emphasizes Beata Jarosz, CEO of Future Collars.
-"The reskilling program at Play is not only an opportunity to acquire new IT skills but, above all, to build the company on the potential of our teams. Such a combination of the need for IT competencies with the desire for employee development brings mutual benefits. Since this was our first time implementing this program, we were particularly focused on monitoring employee progress, listening to, and considering their feedback. We will certainly take this into account in future editions of the program," comments Ewa Zmysłowska, Chief People Officer, Member of the Board of Play, pointing out the business value of investing in employee education.
The collaboration between Future Collars and Play (P4) is an excellent example of investing in employee development, which translates into an increase in IT competencies and can serve as a model for other companies.
-"In collaboration with Play, we have strengthened employees' competencies so that they can further develop their careers," comments Klaudia Rejkiewicz, Business Development Manager at Future Collars. "The mission of Future Collars is to provide high-quality education to everyone who wants to improve their skills and advance their careers. We are always pleased when we can play a significant role in the reskilling of employees of any company, especially one like Play, which is at the forefront of companies focusing on reskilling and upskilling," adds Rejkiewicz.
